2018 (Junior):
Smith had a breakout junior campaign for the Lady Buffs in 2019 as the Fort Worth native registered 255 kills (2.18/set) on 668 swing with just 58 errors to hit .295 on the season to go along with seven assists, 16 aces, 110 digs and 75 total blocks (six solo, 69 assisted) to average 0.64 per frame to earn Honorable Mention All-Lone Star Conference accolades on the front row.

2017 (Sophomore):
Smith saw sparing time on the court for the Lady Buffs in 2017 as the sophomore played in 39 sets during 18 matches with three starts. The Fort Worth native registered 46 kills (1.18/set) on 120 swings with just 14 attack errors to hit .267 on the year to go along with two aces, six digs and 17 total blocks (one solo, 16 assisted) to average 0.44 per frame.

2016 (Freshman):
Smith saw time in 24 sets during 11 matches as a true freshman in 2016. The Fort Worth native registered 19 kills (0.79/set) with six attack errors on 40 swings to hit an impressive .325 on the season to go along with seven block assists to average 0.29 per frame.

At W.E. Boswell High School:
Smith joined the Lady Buffs following a standout prep career at W.E. Boswell High School in Fort Worth as she played in the middle for the Pioneers under head coach Kevin Anderson. She helped the Pioneers to a Texas 5A Area Championship as a senior, she was a two-time All-District selection and the District Newcomer of the Year in 2014. In the classroom, Smith was a four-time Academic All-District performer while holding a perfect 4.0 GPA and ranking 10^th in her class. She played club ball for the Tejas Volleyball Club based out of North Richland Hills where she helped the team to a win at the Show Me National Qualifier in 2016.
