INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – West Texas A&M responded from a pair of Friday losses as they started fast and never looked back in a --- win over Lock Haven (25-18, 25-7, 25-20) on Saturday morning at the Ruth Lilly Center in Indianapolis, Indiana during the 2016 UIndy Invitational. The Lady Buffs snap a two-game losing streak to improve to 3-4 while the Bald Eagles fall to 0-7.
The Lady Buffs were led offensively by senior middle blocker
Elisa Bentsen who tied a career high with 14 kills on 26 swings with three attack errors to hit an impressive .423 in the match, freshman
Selena Batiste continued to impress as she dished out 20 assists while
Lauren Britten tallied 15 digs. WT registered 41 kills on 106 swings with 13 attack errors to hit .264 as a team with 35 assists, 49 digs and six total blocks.
The Bald Eagles were led by Jordyn Topping with six kills on 17 swings with three attack errors to hit .176 in the loss, Olivia Sass dished out 20 assists while Sydney Belcastro led all players with 16 digs in the match. Lock Haven registered 25 kills on 102 swings with 22 attack errors to hit just .029 as a team with 24 assists, 47 digs and five total blocks in the match.

The Lady Buffs wrap-up the 2016 UIndy Invitational this afternoon as they take on the host Greyhounds with first serve set for 2 p.m. CT at the Ruth Lilly Center. The Greyhounds (2-4) split their Friday matchups as they fell to #16 Tampa before topping Saginaw Valley State.
