LAKELAND, Florida – The #24 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M committed 27 attack errors and hit just .063 as a team as they fell in straight sets to former Lone Star Conference foe Central Oklahoma (25-13, 25-17, 25-19) during the Florida Southern Terrace Hotel Classic at the Jenkins Field House in Lakeland, Florida. With the loss, the Lady Buffs fall to 4-3 overall while the Bronchos improve to 7-1 on the season.

The Lady Buffs were led offensively by
Courtnee Curl and
Cori Haley with eight kills each followed by
Elisa Bentsen and
Cheyenne Lytle with six each. Schulz guided the WT offense with 12 assists followed by Eickhoff with 11 while Britten led the team with 10 digs in the match. The Lady Buffs hit just .063 as a team with 35 kills on 127 swings with 27 attack errors to go along with 32 assists, two service aces, 52 digs and six total blocks in the match.

The Bronchos were led by Barr with a match high 12 kills on 20 swings with just one attack error to hit .550 followed by Jordan Spence with nine kills and Jackson with eight, Davis led all players with 31 assists in the match while Gifford registered a match-high 24 digs on the afternoon. UCO hit an impressive .317 as a team with 41 kills on 104 swings with just eight attack errors to go along with 36 assists, two service aces, 61 digs and six total blocks in the match.
