LAKELAND, Florida – The #24 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M finished off a rough weekend with another disappointing loss as they dropped their third straight match with a three set loss to #11 Florida Southern (25-17, 25-11, 25-13) to conclude the FSC Terrace Hotel Classic at Jenkins Field House in Lakeland, Florida. The Lady Buffs fall to 4-4 on the season while the Mocs move to 8-0.

The Lady Buffs were led offensively by
Courtnee Curl with eight kills on 23 swings with just three attack errors to hit .217 on the night followed by
Cori Haley with four kills, Jackson guided the WT offense with 15 assists in the match while also registering nine digs along with
Lauren Britten and
McKenzie Long. WT hit .000 as a team with 17 kills on 96 swings with 17 attack errors to go along with 16 assists, two service aces, 51 digs and just two total blocks in the match.

The Mocs were led offensively by Kendall Marotti and Brindl Langley with nine kills each while teammate Allie Geary registered eight kills in the match, Bethany Besancenez led all players with 25 assists to go along with eight digs while Langley and Nicci Joyce both tallied 14 digs each. Florida Southern hit .281 as a team with 43 kills on 114 swings with 11 attack errors to go along with 41 assists, seven service aces, 56 digs and seven total blocks on the night.
