INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – West Texas A&M University -- a proud member of the Lone Star Conference and NCAA Division II -- is excited to join the national organization in the rollout of its new Division II slogan, "Make It Yours." The debut of the new slogan was this week on the various social media platforms promoting the positives of Division II.
 
Following the success of the NCAA's "I Chose Division II" campaign that was launched during the previous decade, the NCAA worked with Blacktop Creative in 2014 to work on a new branding and slogan program. Various research, designs and market tests were done and the two finalists for slogans were presented at the NCAA Convention back in January where administrators from across the entire division were allowed to offer feedback and vote on the slogan of their choice.
 
The "Make It Yours" campaign offers a variety of logos that member schools and conferences can use when branding their product. One of the many features of the new logo is the opportunity for schools and conferences to place their own logo within the slogan to provide a unique element for marketing. 
 
The WT Athletic Department will be featuring the new logo and slogan on its various publications and online platforms throughout the 2015-16 athletic season and in the years moving forward. Fans wishing to discuss the new slogan on social media can do so by using the hashtag #MakeItYours.
