CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M Athletics has announced the promotions of three members of its leadership team, recognizing their contributions to the continued growth and success of West Texas A&M Athletics.
Josh Roberson has been promoted to Deputy Director of Athletics - Championship Integrity & Student-Athlete Excellence,
Zoe Spencer has been promoted to Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations, and
Andrea Doa has been promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Marketing.
The promotions reflect the significant impact each has made in their respective areas, helping elevate the student-athlete experience, strengthen departmental operations, enhance the WT Athletics brand, and create greater engagement with Buff Nation.
Roberson's leadership has been instrumental in enhancing the department's internal operations. Through his work in compliance, student-athlete development, and day-to-day administration, he has helped streamline processes, support coaches and student-athletes, and foster a more efficient and collaborative department.
"Josh has transformed our internal operations and efficiency," said Vice President of Athletics
Doug Lipinski. "His steady demeanor is appreciated. When looking for a Deputy, a true number two for an athletics department, he fits the definition."
Spencer has played a pivotal role in shaping the image and voice of WT Athletics through strategic communications, branding initiatives, and fan engagement efforts. Her work has helped strengthen the department's presence while creating a consistent and recognizable experience across all platforms.
"Zoe has elevated the WT brand from day one by setting attendance records, increased ticket sales and new heights in social media interaction," Lipinski said. "Her creativity, work ethic and passion has made a positive impact on our student-athlete experience."
Doa has transformed the game day atmosphere across WT Athletics through innovative marketing strategies, fan engagement initiatives, and creative event activation. Her efforts have enhanced the overall fan experience while helping streamline promotional efforts and create stronger connections with Buff Nation.
"Andrea is a true professional," said Lipinski. "Her approach to problem solving and game day activation is unmatched. She has raised the marketing standard for WT as evident by NACMA's recognition of being named Marketing Team of the Year finalist."
