CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs dominated the 2026 Lone Star Conference Softball postseason awards announced on Wednesday night in Canyon as
Jordyn De Los Santos was tabbed the league's Player of the Year with
Michael Mook earning his third straight LSC Coach of the Year honor.

De Los Santos, who is a senior from Corpus Chrisi, Texas, leads the conference in batting average (.508), home runs (24), RBI (88), slugging percentage (1.078), OPS (1.622), hits (91) and runs scored (78). De Los Santos had eight home runs over her final eight regular season games to help lead WT to the conference title. She also tied an LSC record during that stretch with nine RBI in a single game.

Mook was named LSC Coach of the Year for a third straight season after guiding the Lady Buffs to their third consecutive LSC regular season championship and hosting duties for this weekend's LSC Championships at Schaeffer Park.

The softball all-conference awards are determined by vote of the league's head coaches, who select a 25-player first team with 16 recognized by position and nine at-large selections, followed by 15 players on the second and third teams.

De Los Santos was joined on the LSC First Team by
Trinity Kuntz,
Bella Holland,
Mya Chacon,
Brooke Janning and
Cadence Colborn. The Second Team featured
Abby Howell and
Laci Peskey while
Emily Liskai and
Heaven Moreno claimed Third Team accolades.Â

Janning and Holland were both named to the All-Freshman squad while Liskai earned Golden Glove acclaim. Colborn, Liskai and
Avery Cannon were honored for their efforts in the classroom as members of the All-Academic team.

The Lady Buffs begin their postseason run tomorrow night as they take on the Texas Woman's Pioneers with first pitch set for 7:30 p.m.
