CANYON, TEXAS – The awards continue to roll in for West Texas A&M softball as five Lady Buffs were honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) as well as the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) with the announcement of the 2026 All-South Central Region Teams.

Senior infielder
Jordyn De Los Santos was tabbed the D2CCA South Central Region Player of the Year as the Corpus Christi product has led the Lady Buffs to the South Central Super Regionals. The Lone Star Conference Player of the Year is hitting .497 with 22 doubles, five triples and 24 homeruns to drive in a school-record 91 RBI for a slugging percentage of 1.031.

De Los Santos was joined on the NFCA All-South Central Region First Team by
Trinity Kuntz,
Bella Holland and
Brooke Janning. D2CCA selected De Los Santos, Holland and Janning to the Regional First Team while
Abby Howell earned Second Team accolades.

The Lady Buffs have punched their ticket to the NCAA South Central Super Regionals this week as they will host the #22 Oklahoma Christian Eagles in a best-of-three series beginning on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in Canyon.
