CANYON, TEXAS – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M have been tabbed the second seed and host of the 2026 NCAA Division II Softball South Central Regional Championships this weekend at Schaeffer Park in Canyon, Texas.
 
The Lady Buffs are making the program's 14^th appearance in the NCAA Tournament as they host the South Central Regional Championships for the 10th time (2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026).
 
West Texas A&M will host Angelo State, Texas A&M-Kingsville and CSU Pueblo while Colorado Christian welcomes UT Tyler, Oklahoma Christian and St. Mary's to Lakewood, Colorado. The winner of the two regional sites will battle in a best-of-three series in the South Central Super Regionals hosted by the highest remaining seed on May 21-22.
