WT Sits 10th in the Division II Learfield Director’s Cup Standings

CANYON, Texas –
 Continued success on the field and in the classroom has placed West Texas A&M 10th in the Division II Learfield Directors' Cup heading into the spring championship season announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).
 
WT sits 10th in the overall standings with 368.25 points behind Grand Valley State (790.50), Colorado School of Mines (550.00), Wingate (538.50), Colorado Mesa (529.50), UIndy (488.50), Gannon (466.00), Minnesota State (448.75), Adams State (410.50) and Pittsburg State (388.00). 
 
The Buffs and Lady Buffs are the highest ranked Lone Star Conference member by 71 spots and 221.75 points over UT Tyler (81st, 146.50). The LSC was represented by WT (10th), UT Tyler (81st), Angelo State (83rd), Dallas Baptist (91st), Lubbock Christian (96th), Midwestern State (103rd), Texas Woman's (109th), Oklahoma Christian (151st), UT Permian Basin (152nd), Texas A&M-Kingsville (155th), Eastern New Mexico (165th), St. Edward's (165th), St. Mary's (165th) and Western New Mexico (192nd).  
 
Final results will be announced in June following the conclusion of the spring championship season.
