CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M Track & Field closed out impressive performances at the Masked Rider Open in Lubbock as well as the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, North Carolina.

West Texas A&M returns to the track next week in the Hill Country, taking part in the 98
th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays as well as the Bobcat Invitational.

Masked Rider Open
Priscilla Anaglo claimed a pair of Top-10 finishes in Lubbock on Thursday as the freshman ran a 24.29 to finish sixth in the 200m while also finishing 10
th in the 100m (11.94).
Asana Hamidu registered a time of 56.00 for a third-place finish in the 400m final followed by
Sierra Cornell in fifth (56.18).Â

Isabella Celis crossed the finish line sixth in the women's 800m with a time of 2:21.48 to win heat two while
Yvonne Legarreta ran a time of 5:00.96 in the 1,500m to place third. The 100m hurdles saw a trio of Lady Buffs finish inside the Top-10 led by
Taylor Gonzalez in fifth (14.26) followed by
Kailee Benton (7
th, 14.50) and
Hattie Harrison (14.77). Gonzalez would also run a 1:03.76 in the 400m hurdles to finish seventh.

Hope Gray continued the impressive start to the outdoor campaign in the women's hammer throw with a mark of 53.81m on her second attempt to win the event, she also finished 10
th in the discus (41.38m).
Kedan Burch claimed a seventh-place finish in the shot put (11.95m) while
Abigail Provost finished sixth in the hammer (45.82m).

WT featured a pair of Top-10 finishers in the men's 100m dash as
Kareem Small ran a 10.42 to finish third followed by
Jace Lynch in eighth (10.73).
James Dadzie impressed in the 200m with a mark of 20.69 to finish sixth overall.

Raphael Gomis registered a time of 14.39 to place seventh in the men's 110m hurdles followed by teammate
Brayden Cervantes in 10
th (14.91). Cervantes would win the 400m hurdles with a time of 56.68.Â

The Buffs ended the meet with a runner-up finish in the 4x100m relay as the squad of Lynch, Dadzie, Small and
Toby Makoyawo ran a time of 39.70 to finish just behind the host Red Raiders.Â

Raleigh Relays
The Raleigh Relays opened on Thursday night with the men's distance races as
Tobias Ritter registered a time of 14:18.79 to finish 75
th overall followed by
Branch Cox in 145
th (14:38.93).

Sarah Koomson impressed in the women's 1,500m on Friday afternoon, running the seventh fastest time in program history (4:26.38) to finish 68
th overall in the field of 218 competitors.
Eliette Chaput would register the 10
th best mark in program history during the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 10:37.99 to finish 31
st overall.Â

The women's 5K closed out the weekend action for WT as
Kalkidan Vincendeau ran a mark of 16:11.65 to finish 27
th overall while tallying the fourth fastest time in program history,
Julie Lafare would finish 123
rd (17:23.14).
