CANYON, Texas – The threat of inclement weather in the Texas Panhandle this weekend has forced schedule changes for West Texas A&M's four-game Lone Star Conference baseball series at Hays Field in Lubbock, Texas.
 
The series opener will still take place on Friday with first pitch scheduled for 4:00 p.m. followed by a doubleheader at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday followed by the series finale on Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
 
The Buffs sit fourth in the LSC standings with an overall record of 24-10 with a 22-10 mark in league action while the Chaps are 21-13 (20-12 LSC) to sit tied for fifth with Eastern New Mexico.
