Cade Griffin were honored for their efforts on the diamond on Wednesday night as the Lone Star Conference announced their annual baseball postseason awards in Tyler, Texas.

Police was named to the All-LSC First Team while Alwine and Griffin earned Second Team accolades.Â

Police put together an impressive season at the plate during his only season in Maroon & White as the Prescott, Arizona product hit .353 with 15 doubles, five triples and eight homeruns to drive in a team-best 58 RBI for a slugging percentage of .589 to go along with 11 stolen bases.

Alwine registered a great senior campaign for the Buffs, hitting .371 with six doubles, one triple and five homers for 37 RBI and a slugging percentage of .545. The Glendale, Arizona product is sixth in all of Division II baseball in walks (52) and walks per game (1.13) while ranking fourth nationally in on-base percentage (.568).

Griffin led all of Division II in starts while sitting 15
th in complete games and 38
th in victories as the junior righty went 8-5 with a 6.16 ERA. The Willis, Texas native started 15 games for the Buffs, tossing four complete games as he allowed 54 runs (52 earned) on 99 hits with 29 walks and a team-high 54 strikeouts in his 76.0 innings of work.
