CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M placed four runners inside of the Top-50 with three claiming All-American honors on Saturday morning as WT finished ninth at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The Lady Buffs registered 308 total points as they finished ninth overall.
Naomi Addo led the way for the Lady Buffs with a time of 20:54.8 to finish 28th overall followed by
Sarah Koomson in 33rd (20:59.1) and
Abigail Abugire in 40th (21:04.9) as the trio claimed All-American accolades.

Julie Lafare finished 50th with a mark of 21:17.0 followed by
Yvonne Legarreta in 195th (22:49.4),
Lexi Maul in 198th(22:451.5) and
Isabella Celis in 248th (23:42.6).Â

Adams State junior Tristan Spence ran a time of 20:11.0 to win the Individual National Championship followed by Grace Strongman of Colorado School of Mines (20:17.0) and Walsh's Claire Rethman (20:21.3).

Grand Valley State placed five runners inside the Top-25 as the Lakers registered 65 total points to win their second National Championship in the past three seasons. Colorado School of Mines (69) finished second followed by Wingate (131), Adams State (168) and Western Colorado (206) to round out the top five.

West Texas A&M turns their attention to the start of the indoor track and field season on December 11th as they take part in the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invite & Multi in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
