CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M dropped their second straight contest against a Top-10 opponent on Saturday afternoon as they fell to the #9 UT Tyler Patriots, 76-57 at the Herrington Patriot Center in Lone Star Conference action.
 
Claire Graham led the way for the Lady Buffs as the Tucsola native went 8-of-11 from the floor including 5-of-7 from behind the arc for a team-high 21 points to go along with seven rebounds and one assist. 
Randi Harding (13) and 
Taylor Haggan (12) both finished in double-figures followed by 
Kyla Kane with eight points, six boards, five assists and two steals.
 
The Lady Buffs finished the afternoon going 22-of-62 (35.5%) from the floor including 8-of-30 (26.7%) from deep and 5-of-8 (62.5%) from the line with 36 rebounds (13 offensive, 23 defensive), 11 assists, 15 turnovers, no blocks and three steals.
 
Lovisa Hevinder paced the UT Tyler offense as she went 9-of-16 from the floor including 4-of-7 from behind the arc for a game-high 22 points while grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out three assists. UTT went 29-of-59 (49.2%) from the field including 9-of-22 (40.9%) from long range and 9-of-11 (81.8%) from the stripe with 35 rebounds, 19 assists, 10 turnovers, one block and 11 steals.
 
The Lady Buffs continue their LSC road swing on Thursday night as they make their way to Lubbock, Texas to take on the #18 Lady Chaps of Lubbock Christian with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m. at the Rip Griffin Center.
