CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs picked up a third consecutive victory on Saturday afternoon as they held the Sul Ross State Lobos to just 21 second half points on the way to a 78-51 Lone Star Conference win at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.

Randi Harding led the way for the Lady Buffs as the Mustang, Oklahoma product went 6-of-8 from the floor including 3-of-5 from dee for a team-best 16 points to go along with two rebounds, one assist and a steal.
Claire Graham added 10 points of her own followed by
Hollie Stalder with nine and
Taytum Bell with eight,
Taylor Haggan grabbed seven board while Bell had five assists with
Chloe Callahan registering four steals.

The Lady Buffs finished the afternoon going 30-of-69 (43.5%) from the floor including 8-of-29 (27.6%) from behind the arc and 10-of-12 (83.3%) from the stripe to go along with 47 rebounds (19 offensive, 28 defensive), 2- assists, 20 turnovers, three blocks and 15 steals.

Melody Martinez paced the Lobos offense as she went 6-of-17 from the floor for a team-high 15 points to go along with eight boards, one block and a steal. SRSU went 19-of-61 (31.1%) from the field including 4-of-16 (25%) from deep and 9-of-16 (56.3%) from the line with 33 rebounds, 13 assists, 20 turnovers, one block and 10 steals.

The Lady Buffs hit the road for a big weekend of Lone Star Conference action next week as they start their road trip in Denton against the defending South Central Regional Champion #2 Pioneers of Texas Woman's with tipoff set for 6:00 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena.
