CANYON. Texas – West Texas A&M junior guard 
Randi Harding scored 24 points on Friday afternoon with 17 of them coming in the second half as the Lady Buffs picked up a decisive 72-48 victory over the Adams State Grizzlies at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.
 
The Mustang, Oklahoma product finished the afternoon going 8-of-12 from the floor including 3-of-5 from behind the arc and a perfect 5-of-5 from the stripe for a game-high 24 points to go along with four boards and two assists. 
Kyla Kane added 13 points for the Lady Buffs followed by 
Claire Graham with eight to go along with 10 rebounds for a near double-double.
 
The Lady Buffs finished the game going 23-of-47 (48.9%) from the floor including 6-of-19 (31.6%) from deep and 20-of-32 (62.5%) from the free throw line with 54 rebounds (11 offensive, 43 defensive), 11 assists, 25 turnovers, one block and five steals.
 
Angelline Nageak led the way for the Grizzlies as she went 5-of-12 from the field including 3-of-4 from deep for a team-high 15 points to go along with one rebound and two steals. Taejhuan Hill added seven points and eight board for Adams State in the loss. ASU went 16-of-68 (23.5%) from the floor including 4-of-22 (18.2%) from deep and 12-of-16 (75%) from the stripe with 28 boards, seven assists, 11 turnovers, two blocks and 14 steals.
 
WT closes out the Lady Buff Thanksgiving Classic on Saturday afternoon as they take on the Cowgirls of New Mexico Highlands with tipoff set for 3:00 p.m. in Canyon. NMHU claimed a 70-65 victory over UT Permian Basin earlier in the day.
