CANYON. Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M connected on their first six attempts behind the arc on Thursday afternoon as they picked up a 73-49 victory over the UCCS Mountain Lions during Field Trip Day in front of 2,356 youth fans, the 12
th largest crowd in First United Bank Center history.
 
Claire Graham led the way for the Lady Buffs as the Tucsola, Texas product went 6-of-11 from the floor including 3-of-7 from behind the arc for a game-high 16 points followed by 
Randi Harding (15), 
Kyla Kane (11) and 
Hollie Stalder (10) in double-figures. 
Taylor Haggan grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds to go along with four points, one assist and a steal.
 
The Lady Buffs finished the afternoon going 20-of-53 (37.7%) from the field including 6-of-16 (37.5%) from deep and 27-of-35 (77.1%) from the line with 45 rebounds (11 offensive, 34 defensive), 10 assists, 17 turnovers, two blocks and four steals.
 
Maison White led the way offensively for the Mountain Lions as she went 7-of-9 from the floor including 1-of-4 from the free throw line for a team-high 15 points to go along with 10 rebounds for a double-double. UCCS went 19-of-63 (30.2%) from the field including 3-of-26 (11.5%) from deep and 8-of-13 (61.5%) from the stripe with 36 boards, seven assists, 17 turnovers, three blocks and four steals.
 
The Lady Buffs begin Lone Star Conference play on Saturday, November 23
rd as they make the short drive to Portales, New Mexico to take on the rival Greyhounds of Eastern New Mexico with tipoff set for 2:00 p.m. CT at Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena.
