Lady Buff Volleyball Remains Ninth in the AVCA Top-25 Poll

CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M remain ninth in this week's edition of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)/TARAFLEX Division II Top-25 Poll announced on Monday afternoon.
 
Tampa claimed 41 first place votes to remain atop of the poll with 1,162 points followed by MSU Denver (two first place – 1,107), Nebraska-Kearney (one first place – 1,068), Ferris State (996), St. Cloud State (969), Cal Poly Pomona (three first place, 876), Southwest Minnesota State (869), Wayne State (860), West Texas A&M (790) and Chaminade (756) to round out the top ten.
 
The South Central Region was represented by MSU Denver (2nd), West Texas A&M (9th), Angelo State (14th), Colorado Mesa (17th) and Dallas Baptist (25th).
 
The Lady Buffs hit the road for big Lone Star Conference matches this weekend as they take on #25 DBU on Friday night at the Burg Center followed by a Saturday showdown at UT Tyler.
