Ainsley Malis earned All-Tournament accolades as the #1 Lady Buffs finished on top on the final day of the 2023 BritKare Lady Buff Classic in Canyon on Saturday. Miller was named Most Valuable Player of the BritKare Lady Buff Classic.

The Lady Buffs started off the day with a victory as All-Tournament MVP
Torrey Miller led the way offensively for WT with a season-high 16 kills on 26 swings with only two attack errors to hit .538 on the night followed by sophomore
Emma Becker who had 12 kills on 20 attempts with three hitting errors and a .450 clip.
Ainsley Malis paced the WT offense with 23 assists to go along with eight digs while
Bryli Contreras led the way with 17 digs.
The Lady Buffs registered 53 kills on 106 swings with 13 attack errors to hit .377 in the match to go along with 48 assists, 42 digs, 10 blocks and 62.0 points.

The Lady Buffs ended the two-day BritKare Classic with a win and perfect 4-0 on the weekend making their winning streak stretch to 30 matches. Sophomore
Taytum Stow led WT against Davenport with 11 kills on 20 swings and a .400 clip along with leading in blocks with four.
Camy Jones had zero errors in the match, hitting .400 while Malis dished out 17 assists and Contreras led with 12 digs.
WT finished the match with 39 kills on 102 swings with 13 attack errors to hit .255 with 33 assists, 12 blocks and 50.0 total points. WT defense allowed an attack percentage of .057 on the night against the Panthers.

COMING UP NEXT
The Lady Buffs will continue preseason play in Denver, Colo. after receiving an invitation for the second year in a row to the 2023 Colorado Premier Challenge on Sept. 8-9. WT will face Lewis and #3 MSU Denver in the opening rounds before bracket play on Saturday.
