WT plated the game's first run in the bottom of the second as a lead-off walk from Diana Murtha came around to score after a Madison Johnson double and Julie Guzmam single. After Lauren Granger walked to reload the bases, the runners moved up one base on a wild pitch. Back-to-back RBI ground outs from Megan Guericke and Brittni Rufus gave the Lady Buffs an early 4-0 advantage.

Midwestern State answered WT's runs with a pair of its own, scoring two runs on one hit and an error. After the Mustangs cut the lead in half, the Lady Buffs went right back to work at the plate. A leadoff walk came around to score on a two-base error before Johnson doubled again to bring in two more.  Later in the inning, Rufus singled into left field to score Johnson and push the WT lead to six runs.

The Lady Buffs put runs on the scoreboard for the third-consecutive inning when Emilee Boyer started the inning with a single and Murtha walked on a full count. Guzman put the game out of reach and brought the run-rule into place with one swing of the bat as the junior sent one out of the park to left-center.

Emma Parrish came out of the bullpen in the fifth to shut down the Mustangs and secure the LSC series win.

WT didn't need as much offense in the second game of the day as the Lady Buffs shut out Midwestern State in the final game. Three Mustang errors in the first inning led to a run for WT, setting the Lady Buffs up for the rest of the game.

In the bottom of the third, Ruby Salzman's single with one out and stolen base allowed Emilee Boyer to double the senior outfielder in. Boyer came around to score on Johnson's single up the middle. After three complete innings at Schaeffer Park, WT controlled the game with a 3-0 lead.

The Lady Buffs took advantage of more Midwestern State errors in the fourth inning, scoring another run on two Mustang mistakes. WT extended its lead to five runs in the fifth when Murtha lined a solo shot over the left-field wall.

In the sixth inning, the Lady Buffs looked to end the game early but couldn't bring in the final run. Gabriella Valforte singled before being lifted for a Ruby Moore to pinch run. Moore subsequently stole second and crossed the plate on Shyanne Sanchez's single into center. Riley Stiner made the most of her pinch-hitting appearance for the second night in a row, doubling to left field to drive in a run.

Parrish repeated her results from the first game of the day, sitting the Mustangs down without a run.
