IN THE REGIONAL POLLS
The NCAA released the first regional poll this Wednesday with the Lady Buffs sitting atop in first place. Seven Lone Star conference teams are ranked from 5th through 10th with three RMAC teams in second through fourth. Nationally ranked WT, MSU Denver, Colorado Mesa and Regis take the first four spots in the South-Central Regional rankings.

A WIN WOULD...
A win against Texas A&M Kingsville would put the Lady Buffs in good standing to host the Lone Star Conference Championships from Nov. 16-18.
If the Lady Buffs came out to defeat both the Javalinas and the Dustdevils this weekend, then it would guarantee hosting the LSC championships.

LAST TIME OUT
The Lady Buffs swept the Western New Mexico Mustangs at home for senior night. Torrey Miller celebrated her 1800th kill against Cameron making her the fourth all-time kills leader in WT history.

AROUND THE LONE STAR
The Lady Buffs are sitting in first place in the Lone Star Conference with only one dropped match in the regular season.

Angelo State and Dallas Baptist are tied for second but only one will come out ahead after this weekend's match-ups when the Belles and Patriots go head-to-head this Friday in Dallas, Texas.

Rounding out the top eight are Arkansas-Fort Smith, Texas Woman's, Texas A&M Kingsville, UT Tyler, with UT Permian Basin with Texas A&M International tied for eighth.

WT HEAD COACH KENDRA POTTS
Kendra Potts begins her fifth season at the helm of Lady Buff Volleyball with an overall 115-22 (.840) record and 65-11 (.850) in league play.  Potts led her alma mater to the program's 4th NCAA National Championship after capturing the South-Central Regional title to become the sixth head coach in program history to guide WT to the Elite Eight.
