CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – West Texas A&M women's golf ranked 10
th in the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division II Coaches' Preseason Poll. WT is one of three Lone Star Conference schools in the rankings while four more LSC schools are receiving votes.

Dallas Baptist University opens the season atop the Division II rankings with five first-place votes, while defending NCAA Champion University of Findlay trails by just two points after receiving seven first-place votes. Anderson University received one first-place vote to come in at No. 3, followed by Lynn University at No. 4 and last year's NCAA Runner-Up Limestone University at No. 5.

Barry University finished with 244 points at No. 6 followed by Nova Southeastern (233). Lee University landed the eighth spot (225) and Rollins College, ninth in the standings with 211 points, finished ahead of the Lady Buffs (196) to finish out the top-10.

St. Mary's took the 25th spot in the rankings with 30 points. Texas A&M International (28), Oklahoma Christian (10), UT Tyler (10), and Arkansas-Fort Smith (6) finished in the receiving votes section of the poll.

The Lady Buffs open the 2022-23 season on September 9 as they host the WT Fall Invitational at the Tascosa Country Club.
