CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M track & field programs have announced dates and information for its 2022 summer camps.  WT will host a summer camp series on July 18-23 at the WTAMU Track & Field Complex in Canyon.  Registration for the camp series can be found HERE.
 
The event specific event camp is open to student-athletes in grade 6-12 with the cost set at $50 per camp on July 18-22.  Each camp will focus on a different skill: speed and power (July 18), long and triple jump (July 19), high jump (July 20), hurdles or shot put (July 21), and sprints and relays or discus (July 22).
 
WT will offer a Youth Talent ID Camp on July 23 open to student-athletes in grade 3-8 for $50.  The camp will begin at 8:30 a.m. and run through 11 a.m.  Campers will learn fundamentals for warm-ups, sprints, hurdles, jumps, and throws.
