CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M finished off the DBU Men's Classic on Tuesday with a 283 (-5) to finish sixth on the team leaderboard at Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch (Par 72 – 6,860 Yards) in WT's final round before the LSC Championships.
 
Daniel Unger led the way on Tuesday as the junior from Karlstad, Sweden shot a four-under 68 with five birdies to finish tied for 22^nd on the individual leaderboard. Eemeli Jarvinen also finished tied for 22^nd as the Finland product shot a 71 (-1) on Tuesday while Erik Strömfelt shot a four-over (76) in the final round to finish with a 214 (-2) to tie for 20^th. 
 
WT shot a 283 (-5) on Tuesday to finish with a combined team score of 860 (-4) to finish sixth on the team leaderboard. Texas A&M-Commerce claimed the team title (826, -38) by seven strokes over the Cameron Aggies (-31, 833).
 
Kittiphong Phaithuncharoensuk of Texas A&M-Commerce picked up the individual crown with a 198 (-18) highlighted by a six-under 66 on Tuesday to fire in the red during all three rounds of the event.
 
The Buffs now turn their attention to the Lone Star Conference Men's Golf Championship on April 18-20 at Squaw Valley Golf Course in Glen Rose, Texas.
