CANYON, Texas – The #2 Buffaloes of West Texas A&M trailed 7-0 in the top of the sixth inning before finding their rhythm offensively with a 10-spot in the bottom of the frame to salvage a Lone Star Conference series split with the UT Tyler Patriots at Wilder Park in Canyon.

The Patriots got on the board first in the top of the fourth inning as Tanner van de Sanden singled to left field with two outs to score Ethan Bedgood for the 1-0 lead. UTT added to their lead in the top of the fifth as Bedgood singled up the middle with two outs to drive in two and make it 3-0.
