2022:
Charnholm became a go-to force out of the WT bullpen during his junior campaign in 2021, making 23 appearances. The Ennis, Montana product went 8-2 with a 4.87 ERA as the lefty allowed 36 runs (24 earned) on 61 hits with 15 walks and 45 strikeouts during his 44.1 innings of work with an opposing batting average of .321.

At Washington:
Charnholm came to Canyon following one season at the University of Washington where he made 23 appearances out of the bullpen for the Huskies in 2021. He went 1-1 on the season with a 4.79 ERA, allowing 11 runs on 19 hits with eight walks and 17 strikeouts during his 20.2 innings of work for an opposing batting average of .244. 

At Spokane Community College:
The Ennis, Montana product was part of the sixth ranked JUCO recruiting class for the Huskies according to Perfect Game following a standout season at Spokane Community College. The lefty went 3-1 for the Sasquatch during his 14 appearances with two starts in 2019, registering 43 strikeouts during his 38.0 innings to average 10.18 per nine with a 3.32 ERA. 

At Belgrade High School:
Charnholm graduated from Belgrade High School in 2018 where he was an All-State and All-Conference selection for the Panthers under head coach Johnny Graham.

Personal:
Born October 16, 1999. Colton is the son of Marc and Deborah Charnholm and he has one brother, Austin. He is expected to major in Computer Information Systems at WT.
