CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Buffaloes finished off their trip to El Dorado, Arkansas with a 311 (+23) to finish seventh at the Arkansas Collegiate hosted by the University of Southern Arkansas at Mystic Creek Golf Club (Par 72 – 7,039 Yards).
Daniel Unger led the way for the Buffs as the junior from junior from Karlstad, Sweden shot a four-over 76 during Tuesday's final round to finish with a 230 (+14) to finish tied for 16
th on the individual leaderboard. WT finished the final round with 11 birdies highlighted by four from
Kolton Baber and three from
Pablo Rebolleda.
The Buffs fired rounds of 312, 314 and 311 to shoot a 937 (+73) to finish seventh on the team leaderboard. Henderson State claimed the team title with a 900 (+36) for a 15-stroke victory over Harding (+51, 915). HSU's Nathan Cossement shot a four-under 68 during Tuesday's final round to finish with a 213 (-3) to win the individual crown by five strokes over Union's JJ Zimmer (218, +2).
