West Texas A&M Remains 11th in NABC Top 25

CANYON, Texas – For the second consecutive week, West Texas A&M men's basketball is ranked 11th in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II Top 25 released on Tuesday afternoon.  The Buffs (16-2, 3-1 LSC) recorded a pair of victories in the second weekend of conference play with wins over Texas A&M-Commerce and UT Tyler.
 
There was no movement in the Top 12 from last week's poll with Lubbock Christian receiving 13 first place votes while Northwest Missouri State comes in second with three votes.  Nova Southeastern State remained stands third followed by Chico State, Minnesota Duluth, Cal State San Bernardino, Mercyhurst, West Liberty, Cal State San Marcos and Indiana rounding out the Top 10.  Texas A&M-Commerce and Angelo State are each receiving votes in the national standings.  
 
The Buffs set out to Austin, Texas to take on the Hilltoppers of St. Edward's on Thursday (Jan. 13) followed by a game in San Antonio against the St. Mary's Rattlers on Saturday (Jan. 15).
