PITTSBURG, Kan. – West Texas A&M had four runners showcase strong performances at the Crimson & Gold Invite hosted by Pitt State in Pittsburg, Kan.
Senior
Grace Dwyer made her track debut on Saturday as the Lake Station, Ind. Product finished fourth overall in the women's 5,000-meter race, missing the provisional mark by 21.14 seconds. Dwyer completed the first race of the season with a time of 17:57.56.
Daphne Pate was the second Lady Buff to compete for WT. The sophomore finished the 5000m race 23
rd overall in 19:38.71.
On the men's side,
Jay Hall and
Briggs Wittlake each competed in the 5,000-meter race for the Buffs. Hall finished 14
thwith a personal best time of 14:59.08 while Wittlake followed closely behind at 15:05.65 to finish 16
th.
