CANYON, Texas – A Top-25 matchup awaits the No. 25 Lady Buffs as they take their final road trip of the regular-season to San Angelo to face the No. 6 Angelo State Rambelles on Friday night.  First serve is set for 7 p.m. at the Junell Center followed by a Rivalry on the Range match with Lubbock Christian at 2 p.m. on Saturday. 
 
#6 RAMBELLES
The Rambelles enter week 10 play with a 19-3 overall record and 12-1 mark in conference play to rank third in the LSC.  ASU is on a three-match win streak, including a 3-1 victory over nationally-ranked UT Tyler under 14th-year head coach Chuck Waddington. 
 
Kailyn Gilbreath leads the Rambelles with 3.46 points per set followed by Delaney Fuller at 3.01.  Gilbreath averages 2.99 kills per set with a .336 attack-percentage which ranks fifth in the conference along with a team-high 7.27 assists. 
 
On defense, Chloe Patton collects 4.20 digs as the LSC Defensive Player of the Week has compiled 315 digs this season.  Baleigh Allen has totaled 85 blocks to lead the conference. 
 
LADY CHAPS
Lubbock Christian is 16-6 with a 11-2 conference record to rank fourth in the LSC with a current four-match win streak under first-year head coach Keith Giboney. 
 
Hannah Froeschl leads the Lady Baps offense averaging 3.18 points along with 2.43 kills per set while Jalee Sims paces the offense with 8.59 assists.  Kendal Mahaney has compiled 353 digs this season to average 4.41 per set while Froeschl has collected 80.0 total blocks for the Lady Chaps. 
 
LAST TIME OUT
WT recorded their sixth straight sweep with victories over Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas A&M International.  With week nine's wins, WT moves to 18-2 on the season with only having lost 10 sets. 
 
ALL-TIME GREAT
Vogel became the program's all-time digs leader after moving past former Lady Buff standout Lauren Beville who played from 2009-2012 and registered 2,423 digs.  The Hereford product passed the mark in the third set against Cameron (Oct. 23) with her 15th dig of the match and now has moved her career total to 2,458. 
 
AVCA DII TOP-25 POLL
For the third consecutive week, the Lady Buffs rank 25th in the national standings. MSU Denver stands first in the national rankings with a 20-2 overall record with the Roadrunners receiving 44-of-47 possible first place votes.  Central Missouri ranks second with three first-place votes followed by Washburn, Cal State San Bernardino and Northwest Missouri State. 
 
A LOOK AT THE NUMBERS
The Lady Buffs rank second in the LSC standings at 18-2 overall and 12-1 in conference play.  WT is first in the conference in hitting percentage at .259 with the Lady Buffs averaging 13.8 kills per set and limiting opponents to hit .094 which is third in Division II.  As a team, WT collects 12.6 assists, 1.6 aces, 17.5 digs, and 2.4 blocks per set. 
 
Torrey Miller has a team-high 4.38 points per set as the sophomore averages 3.88 kills followed by Kayla Elliott with 3.21 (pt/s) with a team-high 24 aces.  Junior Sadie Snay paces the offense with 5.80 assists while senior Chandler Vogel records a team-high 4.88 digs. 
 
WELCOME TO THE BLOCK PARTY!
WT has collected 162.0 blocks on the season averaging 2.4 which ranks first in the Lone Star Conference led by Kayla Elliott and Marjani Stanfill.  The two middle blockers have combined for 103 blocks Stanfill holding a team-high 54.    
 
WT HEAD COACH KENDRA POTTS
Kendra Potts is in her third season at the helm of Lady Buff Volleyball with an overall 50-13 record.  Potts led her alma mater to the South Central Regional Quarterfinals during her first season in 2019 to become just the fourth head coach in program history to guide WT to the NCAA Tournament during their first season.
 
WELCOME TO THE BOX
West Texas A&M is fortunate to have one of the best home environments in all of NCAA Volleyball. The WTAMU Fieldhouse is more affectionately known as "The Box," is home to 19 Lone Star Conference Championships, 13 Regional Titles and three NCAA Division II National Championships. 
 
The Box boasts one of the best home winning records in the NCAA on any level of competition. The Lady Buffs are 506-82 at The Box since the 1980 season for an incredible winning percentage of 86%.
 
BRITKARE COURT
WT Athletics has proudly announced a new state-of-the-art court for the historic home of Lady Buff Volleyball to highlight the 2021 season thanks to a generous gift from Britkare Home Medical.   ­BritKare Court at The Box features a top-line Taraflex court surface that is widely used in Division I arenas, professional volleyball and was most recently featured at the just completed Tokyo Olympics.    
 
LSC PRESEASON POLL
The defending LSC Champion Angelo State picked up 31 of the possible 44 first-place votes for a total 771 points to sit atop of the preseason poll followed by UT Tyler (two first-place votes, 739), Texas A&M-Kingsville (three first-place votes, 686), WT (649) and UAFS (627) to round out the top five.
 
Texas A&M-Commerce was tabbed sixth with 562 points followed by St. Edward's (458), Midwestern State (423), Texas Woman's (416), UT Permian Basin (two first-place votes, 409), Texas A&M International (386), Oklahoma Christian (301), DBU (one first-place vote, 277), Lubbock Christian (263), St. Mary's (185), Western New Mexico (134), Cameron (121), and Eastern New Mexico (117).
 
THE LONE STAR CONFERENCE
The top 12 teams will qualify for the postseason tournament with the opening round on campus Tuesday, Nov. 16, and the final eight teams at the No. 1 seed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 18-19-20.The LSC champion will be determined by regular season games, while the postseason tournament winner is designated as LSC tournament champion and earns the conference's automatic NCAA qualification.  
 
LSC DIGITAL NETWORK
Fans will be able to purchase a $10 daily pass that will give them access to all football, volleyball and basketball contests on the network that day as well as access to previously aired games from the current season for 24 hours. Fans can also purchase a $50 volleyball season pass that will give them access to all Lone Star Conference volleyball matches.  In addition to live and archived streaming options, viewers will have the option to purchase and download games from the 2021 season for $10 each.
 
UP NEXT
The Lady Buffs return to Canyon on November 12-13 for the regular-season finale with matches against Texas Woman's and DBU.  On Friday, WT will honor Lady Buff seniors for senior day.
