TYLER, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M went into Tyler, Texas for the first time in program history and came away with a 76-54 Lone Star Conference crossover victory at the Herrington Patriot Center in front of 500 fans on Thursday night.

- The Lady Buffs were led by
Abby Spurgin who went 9-of-11 from the floor and 6-of-7 from the free throw line with a game-high 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds for her third career double-double,
Delaney Nix hit five long balls to follow with 15 points with
Megan Gamble (11) and Siennz Lenz (10) in double-figures.
- UT Tyler was led offensively by Tyreesha Blaylock who went 9-of-18 from the floor and 4-of-9 from deep with 22 points to go along with three rebounds and one steal, Kelsey Crouse went 4-of-8 from the floor and 2-of-5 from behind the arc for 10 points while Beezy Birchette grabbed 10 rebounds to go along with two assists and one steal.

- The Lady Buffs went 17-of-29 (58.6%) from the field in the first half including 6-of-13 (46.2%) from deep and 4-of-7 from the free throw line (57.1%) with 22 rebounds (five offensive, 17 defensive), eight assists, seven turnovers, five steals and one blocks.
- UTT finished the first half going 12-of-28 (42.8%) from the floor including 3-of-14 (21.4%) from deep and 2-of-4 (50%) from the charity stripe with 12 rebounds (three offensive, nine defensive), six assists, six turnovers, one steal and two block.
