CANYON, Texas – The #20 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M had three players in double-figures on Saturday afternoon as they handled the Texas Woman's Pioneers in Lone Star Conference crossover action in Canyon, 70-49 in front of over 900 fans at the First United Bank Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Buffs were led by
Abby Spurgin and Siennz Lenz with 14 points each as Spurgin grabbed four rebounds to go along with six blocks while Lenz had four rebounds and a pair of assists,
Braylyn Dollar chipped in 11 points to go along with five rebounds and two assists for the sophomore.
- Texas Woman's was led offensively by Ma'K'La Woods who went 5-of-17 from the floor including a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line to lead all players with 18 points to go along with five rebounds, Brielle Woods chipped in 15 points of her own while grabbing five rebounds and registering two steals.
FIRST HALF
- The Lady Buffs went 11-of-29 (37.9%) from the field in the first half including 6-of-17 (35.3%) from deep and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line with 17 rebounds (six offensive, 11 defensive), 10 assists, five turnovers, two steals and three blocks.
- TWU finished the first half going 9-of-25 (36%) from the floor including 1-of-4 (25%) from deep and 5-of-6 (83.3%) from the charity stripe with 15 rebounds (three offensive, 12 defensive), seven assists, eight turnovers, three steals and two blocks.
SECOND HALF
- WT went 23-of-54 (42.6%) from the floor including 7-of-25 (28%) from deep and a perfect 17-of-17 from the charity stripe with 39 rebounds (seven offensive, 32 defensive), 18 assists, 11 turnovers, three steals and seven blocks in the win.
