SILVER CITY, New Mexico – The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs ended their three-game Lone Star Conference divisional road swing in style on Saturday afternoon as they ran their win streak to six games with a 69-52 victory over the Western New Mexico Mustangs at Drag's Court in Silver City, New Mexico.

- The Lady Buffs were led by
Abby Spurgin who went 6-of-8 from the floor including 1-of-2 from the free throw line for a team-high 13 points to go along with three rebounds and four blocks,
Nathalie Linden and
Tiana Parker chipped-in 11 points each while
Megan Gamble registered seven points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals.
- Western New Mexico was led offensively by Kayla Clark who went 5-of-13 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the charity stripe for a game-high 16 points to go along with seven rebounds and one assist, Taylor Addison added eight points to go along with two boards and three assists for the Mustangs.

- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 12-of-26 (46.2%) from the floor including 5-of-11 (45.5%) from behind the arc and 7-of-9 (77.8%) from the charity stripe with 20 rebounds (six offensive, 14 defensive), nine assists, seven turnovers, three steals and four blocks.
- WNMU went 7-of-30 (23.3%) from the floor including 3-of-10 (30%) from deep and a perfect 3-of-3 from the free throw line with nine rebounds (four offensive, five defensive), four assists, four turnovers, no steals and no blocks in the opening half.Â

- WT finished the game going 26-of-53 (49.1%) from the field including 6-of-17 (35.3%) from behind the arc and 11-of-16 (68.8%) from the charity stripe with 29 rebounds (seven offensive, 22 defensive), 21 assists, 11 turnovers, eight steals and five blocks in the win.
