Buffs Stay Undefeated With 3-0 Shutout Against Seattle Pacific

CANYON, Texas - The Buffaloes of West Texas A&M move to a 3-0-0 record after taking a 3-0 shutout against Seattle Pacific on Monday night.  Stefan Andjelic, Francesco D'Aulerio and Jean-Luc Ramdin each scord to lead the Buffs to a home victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Buffs outshot the Falcons 26-12 to make it three-straight victories in the early season.   WT opened the game in the 35th minute when Stefan Andjelic beat the keeper at the near post following a pass from Marius Longeanie to give WT a 1-0 jump on the Falcons before the half.  

 

WT continued to score in the second half as Sean Ryan found Jean-Luc Ramdin at the far post to double the Buffs lead in the 70th minute for his first goal of the season.  Francesco D'Aulerio added another to the board with a header goal off a corner kick from Jorge Callejas to make it 3-0, securing the Buffs second home victory.

 

Alexander Vencel picked up his first shutout of the season, registering four saves for the Buffs for his second victory. 

 

UP NEXT

WT will take a weekend off in preparation to face Eastern New Mexico on September 26 to kick off Lone Star Conference action in Canyon at The Pitch.  The Buffs and Greyhounds matchup marks the 31st time WT and ENMU meet with the Buffs leading the series 20-7-4 since the series start in 2004.
