WT would make it 7-0 in the bottom of the second with their second home run of the game, this time with a three-run home run from Huggins. Starkey and Coveney both walked for the second consecutive inning before Huggins lifted a 0-1 pitch over the fence in left for her third on the season. Erica Vessels would make it 8-0 in the bottom of the third scoring on a wild pitch after leading her the inning off with a triple.

WNMU would get a run back in the top of the fourth inning after opening the inning with three consecutive singles up the middle.
