A NEW ERA
For the first time since the 2009 season, the Lady Buffs are under the guidance of a new head coach as former WT All-American Kendra Potts was introduced as the 15th head coach in program history back on December 10th.

Potts has become just the fourth head coach in program history to lead the Lady Buffs to the NCAA Tournament in their first season at the helm, joining Jim Giacomazzi (1991, National Champions), Tony Graystone (1999, National Semifinals) and Jason Skoch (2009, National Runner-Up).

Potts spent four seasons as an assistant in Canyon from 2005-2008 where the Lady Buffs went 131-27 during that span with a pair of appearances in the NCAA Division II National Semifinals. WT went an incredible 43-2 in league action during her four seasons on the sideline with three undefeated Lone Star Conference Championships and three LSC Tournament titles. The Amarillo High product registered a standout collegiate career for the Lady Buffs, becoming a three time All-American and the LSC's all-time assists leader with 6,087.

STAPLE IN THE BACK ROW

Vogel has seen time in 356 sets for the Lady Buffs over the last three seasons in Canyon as she has started 97 matches in the back row over that span.
