CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M held an opponent to less that 20 points in the first half for the fifth time this season on their way to a 76-48 Lone Star Conference victory over the Arkansas-Fort Smith Lady Lions on Saturday afternoon at the First United Bank Center heading into the holiday break as WT remained unbeaten in Canyon.

- The Lady Buffs were led by
Sienna Lenz who went 6-of-9 from the floor and 1-of-2 from behind the arc for 13 points followed by
Abby Spurgin (12),
Megan Gamble (10),
Tiana Parker (10) and
Nathalie Linden (10) in double-figures, Lenz grabbed a team-high eight rebounds followed by
Daria Cosgrove with seven while Parker rejected three shots in the win.
- Arkansas-Fort Smith was led offensively by Dachelle Terry who went 5-of-9 from the field including 3-of-4 from deep for 13 points to go along with three rebounds, Hannah Boyett and Paige Elston contributed six points each while Tamera Gulley led the way defensively with five rebounds and two blocks.Â

- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 16-of-25 (64%) from the floor incuding 2-of-7 (28.6%) from behind the arc and 8-of-9 (88.9%) from the free throw line with 15 rebounds (three offensie, 12 defensive), six assists, seven turnovers, five steals and two blocks.
- UAFS went 9-of-24 (37.5%) from the field in the opening half including 1-of-4 (25%) from deep without taking a free throw to go along with 10 rebounds (three offensive, seven defensive), two assists, 12 turnovers, two steals and no blocks.Â

- WT finished the game going 27-of-47 (57.4%) from the field including 4-of-10 (40%) from deep and 18-of-25 (72%) from the charity stripe with 38 total rebounds (eight offensive, 30 defensive), 11 assists, 13 turnovers, five steals and four blocks on the afternoon.
