CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs handed Oklahoma Christian their first Lone Star Conference loss of the season on Thursday night as WT's stingy defense held the Lady Eagles scoreless for over half of the contest including a 14 minute drought that spanned three quarters on the way to a 76-37 victory in front of over 650 fans at the First United Bank Center.

Tiana Parker grabbed eight boards while Spurgin rejected six shots to go along with six rebounds and two assists.
- Oklahoma Christian was led by Kendall Blackburn who went 5-of-11 from the field including 1-of-1 from the free throw line for a team-high 11 points to go along with four rebounds followed by Katie Mayo with 11 points and six boards, Maddison Collyer dished out five assists to go along with four steals and a rebound while being held scoreless.

- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 16-of-30 (53.3%) from the floor including 6-of-10 (60%) from behind the arc and 8-of-9 (88.9%) from the charity stripe with 24 rebounds (seven offensive, 17 defensive), 10 assists, 10 turnovers, five steals and five blocks.
- OC went 4-of-26 (15.4%) from the field in the first half including 0-of-6 from deep and a perfect 2-of-2 from the free throw line with 10 rebounds (four offensive, six defensive), four assists, 12 turnovers, four steals and no blocks.
