- AVCA Division II All-America Teams

CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M's Torrey Miller and Chandler Vogel earned the highest honor a volleyball student-athlete can receive on Tuesday afternoon as the pair of Lady Buffs were tabbed American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II All-Americans.
 
Miller was tabbed a Second Team All-American while Vogel picked up Honorable Mention accolades, the Lady Buffs now have 20 AVCA All-Americans in school history which joins Minnesota Duluth to become the sixth and seventh programs to reach the 20-plateau in Division II history.
 
Miller, the AVCA South Central Region Freshman of the Year, became one of the top outside hitters in all of Division II Volleyball during her first season in Maroon & White as the Brownwood native registered 433 kills on 1,046 swings with 165 attack errors to hit .256 on the season to average an impressive 4.08 kills per frame. Miller also registered 37 assists, 28 aces, 322 digs and 52 total blocks for 489.0 total points to average 4.61 per set.
 
Vogel, the two-time reigning Lone Star Conference Libero of the Year, has been a staple in the back row for the Lady Buffs as the Hereford product led the team in service aces (31) and digs (582) to average an incredible 5.70 digs per frame. The junior made her way up the all-time digs list at West Texas A&M as she now ranks fifth on the list with 1,827 as she is on pace to challenge Lauren Beville's (2009-12) all-time career mark of 2,423.
 
Kendra Potts led her alma mater to the South Central Regional Quarterfinals during her first season at the helm in 2019 to become just the fourth head coach in program history to guide WT to the NCAA Tournament during their first season as the Lady Buffs finished the campaign with an overall record of 22-7.
