HOW IT HAPPENED
The Buffs held a 25-8 advantage in shots over the Falcons but were unable to get hold of a lead. Freshman
Romario Lopez had a chance for the Buffs to strike first in the 10
th minute but his shot bounced off the left woodwork. UTPB nearly went ahead before the half but Michael Nweke's shot went wide left.

WT spent most of the second half in the Falcons side of the field with eight shots including Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week
Marshall Ball's shot in the final minute of regulation. The junior's chance for the game winner was denied by keeper Aragon Alfonso for his seventh save of the match to preserve the tie.Â

WT continued to press the Falcon's in the second overtime until the final seconds as
Kenny Brown's shot was saved by Alfonso to end in a draw. Â

Brown had a team-high five shots with three of them on target, followed by
Liam Doyle with four.Â
Alexander Vencel posted four saves for WT after logging 110:00 minutes to move to a 4-5-1 record.

UP NEXT
The Buffs will make their fourth consecutive conference tournament appearance that begins on November 12 as WT will enter as the sixth seed.
