HOW IT HAPPENED
After twenty minutes of scoreless action, the Chaps jumped on the board after senior Dean Conner found the back of the net for LCU to go ahead 1-0. The Chaps doubled their score in the 23
rd minute to grab the deciding goal before scoring again in the 32
nd minute to lead 3-0 at the half.

LCU scored its final goal of the match as Fernando Flores found Jasper Reese to advance the Chaps lead. The Buffs would strike in the 77
th minute as senior
Jorge Callejas beat the keeper at the near post to record his first goal of the season to end the Chaps shutout.

Freshman
Beau Johnson led the Buffs as the Canyon native recorded three shots, with one on target.Â

LCU's keeper Braxton Throne picked up his ninth win of the season while
Colin Burgiel moved to a 4-1-1 record as the sophomore recorded four saves on 12 shots.
