PORTALES, N.M. –  Senior Louise Gueye recorded his first goal of the season as West Texas A&M fell to Eastern New Mexico, 2-1, on Thursday night to split the season series.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Eastern New Mexico took an early 1-0 lead in the 10^th minute when Julian Trapp finished a pass from Andres Riquelme and Robbie Leonard.  The Buffs looked for a chance to level the game as back-to-back shots from Kenny Brown and Zachary Welch were denied by Dalton Ross.
 
The Greyhounds doubled their score in the 52^nd minute.   ENMU's defense held the Buffs to three shots on goal to preserve their lead before Louise Gueye posted his first goal of the season to put WT on the board in the 88^th minute. 
 
Six Buffs registered a shot against the Greyhounds led by Kenny Brown with a game-high three shots, two of those on-target.  Alexander Vencel picked up the loss as the junior keeper recorded five saves.

The Buffs will next travel to Dallas for a nonconference match against St. Edward's at Richland College on Saturday night.
