NEW LOOK LSC
The Lone Star Conference expanded to 18 volleyball playing institutions back on July 1st as the league welcomed Arkansas-Fort Smith, Dallas Baptist, Lubbock Christian, St. Edward's, St. Mary's, Texas A&M International and UT Tyler. The LSC is utilizing a divisional scheduling model, in which each team will play one match home and away against each of the other teams within their six-team division, and a single game versus eight other conference teams.
Â
The LSC divisional champions will be determined by regular season games within the division, while the postseason tournament winner is designated as LSC Champion and earns the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Postseason. Twelve teams will qualify for the LSC Championship with the opening round on campus Tuesday, Nov. 19, and the final eight teams at the No. 1 seed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 21-22-23.
