KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M finished the night on a 10-5 run as they claimed a thrilling five-set Lone Star Conference road victory at Texas A&M-Kingsville at the Steinke Center on Friday night.

The Lady Buffs registered 57 kills on 192 attempts with 24 errors to hit .172 with 55 assists, four service aces, 105 digs and seven blocks. WT was led offensively by
Lindsey Smith with a 15 kills on 33 swings with no attack errors to hit .455 followed by
Michaela Montgomery and
Taylor Kress with 11 kills each,
Selena Batiste registered another double-double with 32 assists and 24 digs.

Texas A&M-Kingsville finished the match with 67 kills on 210 swings with 26 attack errors to hit .195 as a team with 65 assists, four aces, 101 digs and 13 total blocks in the loss. Madison Brabham finished the match with 19 kills followed by Sarah Miller with 13 and Haley Hutchison with 12 kills, Emily North dished out a match-high 34 assists to go along with 18 digs for a double-double while Nicole Murff led the way defensively with 36 digs to lead all players.
