CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M capped off a weekend of Lone Star Conference action at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" with a sweep over the Western New Mexico Mustangs of Saturday afternoon in Canyon, Texas.

The Lady Buffs registered 42 kills on 120 attempts with 10 errors to hit .267 with 40 assists, four service aces, 68 digs and nine blocks. WT was led offensively by Taylor Kress with a match-high 15 kills on 33 swings with just two attack errors to hit .394 followed by Destiny Jones with nine kills, Selena Batiste registered another double-double with 24 assists and 10 digs while Chandler Vogel led the way defensively with 16 digs on the afternoon.
 
Western New Mexico finished the match with 36 kills on 141 swings with 24 attack errors to hit .085 as a team with 36 assists, three aces, 60 digs and three total blocks in the loss. Erin Moss finished the match with nine kills followed by Maggie Roe and Caitlin Liebe with eight each, Madelynn Culp dishout out a team-high 17 assists while Gabi Lau led the way defensively with 18 digs to lead all players.
