CANYON, Texas – The Buffaloes of West Texas A&M scored three times in the second half as they ran their win streak to three matches on Saturday afternoon with a 4-0 shutout victory over the visiting Hillcats of Rogers State at The Pitch in Canyon, Texas.

The Buffs got on the board in the 38

Marius Longeanie picked-up his first goal of the season off a pass from
Harry McGrath to make it 1-0. The remainder of the first half was a back-and-forth battle as the Buffs finished the period with 12 shots compared to seven by the Hillcats.

WT continued to prove they can score in bunches in the second half as
Lucca Lima found McGrath on a corner kick for a header goal to make it 2-0, McGrath registered his second assists of the afternoon in the 76
th minute on a pass to
Julio Vargas for the one-on-one goal followed by a
Ivan Ulloa goal from Vargas in the 86
th minute to make it 3-0.

The decision to call the match in the 87
th minute was made by the head referee and both coaching staffs following a Rogers State injury.
Alexander Vencel picked up another win between the pipes for the Buffs, registering a pair of saves in the victory.
