CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M hit .327 as a team in the opening frame and never looked back as they snapped a three-game losing skid in a sweep of the visiting Falcons of UT Permian Basin in straight sets on Friday night in Lone Star Conference action at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon.

The Lady Buffs registered 55 kills on 144 attempts with 22 errors to hit .229 with 55 assists, one service aces, 84 digs and eight blocks. WT was led offensively by
Michaela Montgomery with a match-high 15 kills on 33 swings with just one attack error to hit .424 on the night followed by
Taylor Kress with 12 kills,
Selena Batiste registered another double-double with 34 assists and 12 digs while
Chandler Vogel led all players with 23 digs on the night.

UT Permian Basin finished the match with 36 kills on 146 swings with 17 attack errors to hit .130 as a team with 35 assists, four aces, 58 digs and 12 total blocks in the win. Skyler Friel finished the night with 14 kills on 25 swings with just three attack errrors to hit .440, Analise Lucio dishout out a team-high 18 assists while Sarah Vasquez led the way defensively with 19 digs.
