CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M couldn't find a rhythm offensively for the second straight day as the Lady Buffs fell to the rival Belles of Angelo State in four sets during Lone Star Conference action on Saturday afternoon at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon.

The Lady Buffs registered 47 kills on 147 attempts with 20 errors to hit .184 with 45 assists, three service aces, 70 digs and four blocks. WT was led offensively by
Taylor Kress with 14 kills on 47 swings with four errors to hit .213 on the afternoon followed by
Michaela Montgomery with 10 kills,
Selena Batiste finished the match with 28 assists and 14 digs for a double-double while
Chandler Vogel led the Lady Buffs with 24 digs.

Angelo State finished the match with 63 kills on 161 swings with 16 attack errors to hit .292 as a team with 56 assists, six aces, 64 digs and eight total blocks in the win. Audrey Fragniere led all players with 20 kills on 46 swings and five errors to hit .326 on the afternoon followed by Bailey Drum and Baleigh Allen with 12 kills each, Meghan Parker dished out 50 assists while Sundara Chinn Chloe Robinson had 19 digs each.
