CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M started fast but struggled offensively in the final three sets to fall to the #20 Tarleton Texans in four sets during Lone Star Conference action at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon on Friday night.

The Lady Buffs registered 52 kills on 158 attempts with 26 errors to hit .165 with 47 assists, three service aces, 77 digs and three blocks.
Taylor Kress led the way offensively with 12 kills followed by
Selena Batiste with her third triple-double of the season as the junior tallied 11 kills, 27 assists and 11 digs in the loss,
Chandler Vogel was solid in the back-row with 25 digs followed by Batiste and Kress with 11 each.

Tarleton finished the match with 48 kills on 149 swings with 18 attack errors to hit .201 as a team with 41 assists, nine aces, 68 digs and 14 total blocks in the win. Adriana Darthuy led all players with 14 kills on 39 swings with just one error to hit .333 on the night, Kayla Brannon dished out a team-high 18 assists while Adrianna Knutson led all players with 29 digs.
